Cultural Attractions in Malaga

Malaga has a fascinating history, and this is visible as you walk around the city. Visit the Roman theatre, the magnificent cathedral, the 16th century Palace, home of the Museum of Fine Arts, or one of the many fascinating churches.

Malaga is home to several excellent museums, including the Picasso Museum. Picasso was actually born in Malaga, and the museum is housed in Palacio de Buenavista in the heart of the city's historic centre, just a few steps from the Cathedral.

Also in the historic centre is a beautifully restored 18th century building, inside which you'll find authentic Arabic Baths, dry heat and steam rooms, and cool fountains. Indulge in a massage for a truly authentic Hammam experience.

There are many churches in Malaga, each with its own distinctive style. We recommend a visit to Iglesia de los Martires, Iglesia de Santiago, Iglesia del Santo Cristo de la Salud, Iglesia San Juan Bautista and Santuario de la Victoria.
