Shopping in Cape Town

The V&A Waterfront offers a fantastic Cape Town shopping experience. Its two shopping centres and two craft markets have something to offer everyone - from upmarket African trinkets and antiques to chic clothing boutiques.

In the heart of the city, Greenmarket Square and St George's Mall sell a variety of African curios, crafts and clothing at excellent prices. The Pan African Market on Long Street is the place to browse and buy wonderful arts and crafts, jewellery and artefacts at very low prices

In the Southern Suburbs, Claremont's Cavendish Square is a large, upmarket, Cape Town shopping centre housing a wide range of shops, restaurants and cinemas, and Canal Walk at Century City is the largest shopping complex in Africa, with a huge choice of shops and a fantastic science centre to entertain both the young and the young at heart.
